Melissa Bylow
ABOUT ME

Melissa Bylow has a passion for content creation and learning design, with a sincere desire to have an impact in curating cohesive, dynamic learning experiences incorporating andragogy, adult learning theory, design thinking, and cross-functional learning styles to implement program evaluation and organizational development via formative and summative assessments. Melissa has a master’s degree in Education Instruction and Technology Design, concentrating on Blended Learning, and holds a California Clear Teaching Credential for grades K-8, with 10+ years of teaching experience with elementary, middle school, and adult learners. Her most recent experience was as Senior Instructional Designer at The Center for Leadership Studies, where she designed and created a curriculum leveraging learning management systems for organizational development, policy development, and leadership learning products for management, executives, sales, and internal teams.  

Melissa is a highly rated, demonstrated public speaker with an NPR score of 78 and experience teaching demonstration lessons of Project-Based Learning, STEM, Robotics, and 3D Printing. She worked collaboratively with Professor Guo at Normal University Wuhan, participating in education reform panels and contributing to grade-level STEM textbooks using Little Bits and KEVA planks. Beyond the classroom, Melissa has written curriculum, curated teacher training videos, blogs, professional development workshops, and support content for DreamBox Learning, Brainmaps, and Suzhou Learning Power Education Technology Co. both nationally and abroad.
