AI uses the word "seasoned" Learning and Development professional. My phrase is more "always learning" and never knowing it all as our industry has changed so much over the last 20+ years I've been in talent development. I could spend hours training strategy, stakeholder engagement, identifying the real root of the need, and then the instructional design, launch and measurements of success. My journey into ATD began through volunteering to help get chapter webinars up and going. As president (2024) of the local ATD Kansas City chapter, I am dedicated to driving positive change in the talent development community in Kansas City through leveraging the art of gathering (whether in person or virtual) and holding time as the precious commodity that it is.
