ABOUT ME

My sales background took a turn when i started a voluntary role in a drugs rehabilitation center in Mombasa, Kenya. There, i was privileged to get employed as a drug addictions counselor, and by that, i got exposed in many trainings and community sensitization programs. I even got an opportunity once to have a radio talk show, as a guest speaker, with over 500K+ audience in the Kenyan Coastal towns.

I took a deep dive into this job, landing into an administrative position, that saw me getting more involved in educational cycles of clients and the community. Here I learned about basic Psychology, and more important the Reward Pathway. On this context, I was more happier doing what i was doing, and more importantly, learning that i could still learn something new, apply the learning, as well as teach someone else. Oh, how I wish this has happenned earlier in my life. Seeing how my previous career, sales, could have been much easier by applying needed behavioral aspects, in almost every dealing with clients, that recognises the feeling of a win.

Today, I am a Training Manager, who was a sales person in different roles and merchandise, and an addiction counselor who shares success stories of both achievements in high sales deals as well as in influencing people adopt healthy lifestyles. My passion in training grows by the day, as i have developed a blended mindset in binding sales and the urge to win, a win that gives you the hapiness, but also urges you to perservere.
