I’m a training and development professional with over 20 years of experience leading and managing all aspects of corporate training programs with extensive expertise in Instructional Design and eLearning development. My experiences also include: visual and graphic design and audio and video production. I have a broad range of experience using the Adobe suite, TechSmith Camtasia, GoAnimate, PowToon, and PowerPoint. My specialty is developing eLearning using the Articulate 360 suite.

 

I have a lot of experiences to draw from; everything from taking photos in surgeries (ask me about nearly fainting while filming a c-section) to designing and printing posters; from end-to-end video production to developing elearning for some pretty awesome people and companies. I'm particularly passionate about developing elearning because it rolls all of my creativity and multi-media experiences into one delivery.

I have deep experience in developing strategies for learning technology ecosystems that provide a well balanced and effective experience for corporate learners. I develop and maintain relationships with internal customers to properly align training and development capabilities and deliverables in order to effectively meet corporate training objectives.

I energetically lead teams of creative elearning developers. I effectively Identify individual and team strengths in order to best align staff to the needs of customers. Comfortable collaborating with all levels of leadership to ensure operational service lines are effectively working together.

Self-motivated to research, experiment with and assess new and innovative delivery modalities. Initiate and maintain professional organization and professional relationships in the Training and Development field in order to stay informed of industry trends, tools, and opportunities.

 

Mentorship

I’ve had many mentors in my life who have helped me both personally and professionally. Mentoring others who are interested in elearning or just getting started in their elearning development careers gives me the opportunity to pay it forward. I’ll take any chance I can to talk about Articulate Storyline, elearning development tools, learning technology ecosystem or the training industry in general.
