Melissa Lagoo is our Learning & Development Lead Specialist who collaborates with other trainers, our curriculum designer and department managers to grow our professional training & education programs.  After spending over two decades working in the Banking and Mortgage industries, Melissa knows what truly drives success through knowledge sharing and education.  She has worked as a Processor, Originator, VP Branch Manager and most recently as an Underwriter.  It is this kind of experience and knowledge the brought her recently to our Learning & Development Department.  She is an integral part of our team, helping to create and deliver new training materials, job aids and resources, across the organization.

Melissa also leads our SOS (Sales & Operations Support) Committee, which includes all of our Senior and Department Managers.  They meet monthly to discuss issues, challenges, training opportunities, guideline clarification and new policy as needed within their individual departments.  The purpose and mission of the Committee, is to drive positive change and provide the tools/resources necessary for our team members to be as successful as they can be. 

When not working, Melissa enjoys spending time with family (especially her 3 grandchildren), traveling/cruising with her husband, reading, walking/hiking and enjoying the outdoors.
