Sandie Bateman, MBA, CPLP®

Senior Vice President Learning and Development, The HR Group, Inc.

 

With 20 years in management with a regional specialty chemical manufacturing firm, Sandie brings to the team expertise in organizational development and in project management.

 

Sandie adds a unique blend of skills and talents in organization development and project management to The HR Group team. As Senior Vice President, Learning and Development, she is responsible for the design and implementation of the public courses we offer.  She also works directly with clients and affiliates to customize the organizational development initiatives as well as the curriculum desired by our clients.

 

Recent experiences in Organizational Design include serving as lead facilitator in:

-       the analysis, design and development of a Diversity and Inclusion program for a large municipal organization;

-       the development of a talent management program for a global pharmaceutical company, including the identification and definition of core competencies, the creation of a competency assessment tool, and the implementation of an individual development program based on the new talent management model;

-       the design and delivery of a supervisory leadership program to internal trainers for a regional manufacturing company, including both the participant curriculum and the facilitator’s manual.

 

She began her career as a teacher in the Guilford County School system. Her corporate career was with a national specialty chemical manufacturing firm where she served as Manager of Corporate Communications; Manager, Customer Reporting and Manager, Training and Development. 

 

Sandie served as President of the Board of the Piedmont Triad Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development and is a member of the Lower Cape Fear Human Resource Association. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from UNC-G and an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill. Sandie is a Certified Professional In Learning and Performance (CPLP) through the Association for Talent Development - ATD ( formally American Society for Training and Development - ASTD).

 

 

Sandie is certified in Profiles XT, Profiles CheckPoint 360°, Profiles Sales Assessment, and Profiles Managerial Fit®. She also utilizes the Wiley / Inscape Everything DiSC® family of behavioral assessments, The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team® as well as the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI) instrument from Personal Strengths Publishing.
