ABOUT ME

My name is Susan Lang.  I have worked in the world of healthcare for the past eighteen years with an emphasis in Education & Coaching, Employee Engagement, Diversity/Inclusion, Process Improvement, DMAIC Methodology, Patient Experience, Value-Based Purchasing, Logistics, and Patient Flow.  I also have a background in leading projects, developing cross-functional teams, and driving results.  I currently work in the Talent Development department for Trinity Health in Livonia Michigan.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Davenport University in 2003 and my Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies in 2016.  In 2018, I earned a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification – Healthcare, from University of Michigan School of Engineering, Ann Arbor MI.

My academic and professional work experience has laid a foundation for me that has made me worldlier in my thoughts and has opened my mind up to more ideas.  It has given me a thirst for more knowledge and has made me want to continue to improve myself on a personal and professional level. My professional work experience has taught me how to be disciplined and how to be successful as an individual

I am very proud of my academic and professional achievements, but my proudest accomplishment is my family! I have two little ones that keep me very busy! My daughter Samantha 13, who loves skating and playing the violin, and my son Case 9, who is currently earning his black belt in Karate.  Between home life, work life, and school, they keep my husband Ted and I very busy.
